The
proud father of seven children, he was always involved with
their school activities. While his children were attending
El Dorado high school, he was very active with Band, Athletic
and Pepster activities. He received the OC Athletic Directors
Booster Award in 1992, PTSA Lifetime Award in 1993 and was
inducted into the El Dorado HS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2003.
Dr.
Ernst lives in Hacienda Heights with his wife Kathy, and fills
much of his spare time visiting with his 7 children, 2 stepchildren
and 15 grandchildren.
He
is also a Magic buff and a member of The Magic Castle in
Hollywood.
